Work
I take on selected research, program, operations, and technical-communications projects for public agencies, nonprofits, publishers, and mission-driven organizations.
My best projects begin with a clear problem and end with something usable: a process, plan, report, system, article, or decision.
My background includes public-program implementation, grant operations, applied research, environmental and public-health projects, and long-form and technical writing. I currently work part time as a firefighter and EMT.
I’m especially interested in emergency services, conservation, outdoor settings, field operations, logistics, and short-term travel assignments.
